It was a tough day today until I remembered life is only tough when I want everything my way. I spent the rest of the day following other people's suggestions and had a great day doing it.  It was once said, "...to navigate a wind river it is best to hold onto nothing."  I don't know who said it but the words struck true today.

Nothing holds us in one place to be torn by the world better than an opinion.  Stubborn things, these pig-onions.  And in truth, an opinion is only valuable coming from one who knows everything...including the future ramifications of all things.  Not me.  Not you.  Only Divine Nature has that kind of sight and His opinion is the wild stream of our reality.  We should not fight that stream...only ask what can we learn of Divine Nature from it.  Just a thought.

Love you all

The truth is we learn more from our troubles than we care to admit.  Oh we bitch about our lousy lives but the path to silence always begins with a head full of noise.  Strength forms by overcoming weakness, so without present weakness there is no further growth to be found.  So heads up.  Smile.  Obstacles are our friend and instruct us until they suddenly are no longer found. Obstacles do not go away, they cease forming because our understanding becomes so powerful they simply cannot take root.

I guess that means obstacles take root only in misunderstanding. Or to rephrase:  I guess that means obstacles are a form of misunderstanding...

See, we are learning all ready....

Remember, after a little food and a place to rest your head the rest of what Life offers is nothing more than exaggeration...the exaggeration of Getting Things to be Happy.   You see, it started with food and warmth, at least with humans.  Other creatures were Happy with a good stinky hole and a nest of flabby grubs, even humans long ago - eons before they stood up loved a good grub, leading of course to calling food grub at times.  Weird, I know.  But it's nothing compared to the wonderful worm stories I have somewhere around here.  But back to business....

I understand food and warmth.  The basics are called 'the basics' for a reason.  They are undeniably needed.  Evolution understood this and for that reason it connected getting food with Happy and being hungry with Unhappy.  It became a biological device with a simple purpose and a simple method.  In this way the mind began as a binary switch and still often divides reality into two: Good and Bad, right and wrong, black and white, hot and cold, night and day...  I could really go on forever but that would take a long time.

I call this our initial awareness, the Child Mind who calls out for milk and a clean diaper as its only way to be happy, an evolutionary screamer honed to getting things controlled by the Happy switch.  But I said initial awareness.  Is there a greater understand, a complete understanding sometimes referred to as Enlightenment?  I bet there is...and I'm a cheater.  Remember that.  I will not remind you again.

I have an adventure for you, a journey, a wandering that will wear you out and then set up upon the Mountain.  Getting down it your problem.  I will tell you my story a little bit at a time and I think you will find it interesting.  I know I did.
